You cannot find a better agent than Jan Riggsby at The Insurance Place a.k.a INSZONE! We were referred by my son several years ago to do a complete review of our auto and home insurance. We lived in COS at the time, so Jan set up a video call. It was perfect, easy, and Jan made the whole process easy. She took her time, explained the coverages to us, and was extremely professional. We agreed to a homeowners policy that day – saving us over $1k per year. We also own a condo in Estes Park, so we had Jan write a personal policy for it too. Jan was soooooo knowledgeable about what coverages were best and WHY. For those of you who own condos/townhomes, MAKE SURE YOUR LOSS ASSESSMENT COVERAGE is high enough! This has recently come into play for us after an unusual hail storm July 2022. Condo HOA insurance covers your outside building for hail up to the complex entire value LESS the 5% deductible. What this means is the deductible for each unit was upwards of $21,000! Yes, you read that right and do any of us have that laying around – NO! Because Jan protected us by recommending we have at least $50,000 in loss assessment, we unlike some of our neighbors are fully covered for the loss (less our much smaller and more reasonable condo deductible of $500). Cannot thank Jan enough. Please, call Jan today or call your current agent and make sure you are properly covered.
