Senior Benefits Account Manager
Amber Lawson is a Senior Benefits Account Manager at Inszone Insurance Services, joining the company in June 2025 after the merger of Woodward, OK – SBG-SBS Stephenson, Baggs & Guthrie, LLC. She has worked in the insurance industry for 27 years in both customer service and sales, specializing in group benefits including health, dental, vision, life, and disability, along with individual health insurance and Medicare supplement plans. Amber began her career working in customer service at Mutual of Omaha in Woodward, OK, then moved to a local independent agency in October of 1998 before joining Stephenson Benefit Services (SBS) in May of 2016. SBS became part of the Inszone family in June of 2025. She graduated from Freedom High School in Freedom, OK and attended Northwestern OK State University in Alva, OK. Amber specializes in group and individual health insurance, dental, vision, life, and disability along with Medicare supplement plans and is very involved with the PTA and fundraising at her daughter’s school, supporting rural, smaller schools and their teachers and students.
Amber tries to help each customer find what is right for them, whether it is a company owner looking to offer coverage to employees or an individual searching for their own policy. She listens first to find out what is most important to them and then tailors a plan or plans to fit their needs. Her personal philosophy is to always do what is right for the customer by listening to their needs and concerns, encouraging questions, and then explaining and sharing what she knows so they walk away educated and wanting to refer others to her.
In her free time, Amber enjoys spending time with family and friends at the lake or in the mountains hiking and riding ATV trails. Most of her free time is spent following her daughter’s school activities including games, academic meets, cheer, and dance, which keep them busy year-round.
