John R. Thomas is a Senior Commercial Insurance Specialist at Inszone Insurance Services, joining the company in November 2024 after the merger with Loft & Co. With 25 years of experience in personal and commercial lines insurance, John’s career began in Life & Health before transitioning to Property & Casualty. Over the course of two decades, he owned and founded several agencies, specializing in Commercial Insurance for industries including Construction, Restaurant and Hospitality, Technology, Distribution, and Manufacturing. John holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Colorado-Boulder.
John is passionate about delivering exceptional client service by deeply understanding their needs and fostering long-term loyalty through great experiences. He has dedicated his career to learning all aspects of the insurance industry and sharing his knowledge with the employees he has managed, emphasizing a philosophy of client-centered service.
In his free time, John enjoys traveling to watch his older children compete in college sports and coaching his youngest child’s basketball team. He also loves fishing with his son, whether at home or on their travels, and spending time at the beach with his family, despite living far from the coast. John and his wife are active volunteers at their daughter’s school and their church.
