John Melvin is a Senior Benefits Insurance Specialist at Inszone Insurance Services, joining the company in August 2025 after the merger of Lexington Insurance Agency. John Melvin is a seasoned insurance executive with over 20 years of experience in employee benefits, insurance regulation, and client consultation. Before joining Lexington Insurance Agency, John served as Director of Insurance Product Regulation at the Kentucky Department of Insurance, where he led statewide regulatory efforts for Property & Casualty and Life & Health insurance products. His career also includes leadership and advisory roles at Foundation Risk Partners, Epic Insurance Solutions, Premier Financial Group, and several technology and AV integration firms. John is a licensed Life & Health Agent and a former President of the Central Kentucky Association of Health Underwriters (CKAHU).
