Joseph Murguia is a Personal Lines Insurance Specialist at Inszone Insurance Services, joining the company in May 2025. Retired high school principal with 26 years in education, Joseph has served as a campus administrator since 2005, holding roles as assistant principal, vice principal, and principal across the San Antonio and New Braunfels metro areas. Before moving into administration, he worked as a high school counselor, behavior consultant, and special education teacher. He holds a Master of Education in School Administration from Trinity University, a Master of Arts in Counseling from the University of Texas at San Antonio, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of the Incarnate Word. His certifications include Principal (EC–12), Counselor (PK-12), and Generic Special Education (PK-12). Joseph’s personal achievements include a Texas Education Agency School Report Card rating of 99% / A from 2021 to 2024, a U.S. News & World Report ranking of 17th in the San Antonio Metroplex in 2024 and 18th in 2023, and induction into the TMI Episcopal Hall of Fame in October 2017 for Academics as a Career Educator & Administrator and Athletics as a State Championship Team Captain.
He takes great pride in building strong relationships and delivering personalized insurance solutions. By taking the time to truly understand each client’s unique needs, he provides thoughtful guidance and dependable support – helping them feel confident and secure in their coverage.
In his free time, Joseph enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter, playing soccer, biking, and taking motorcycle rides through the scenic Texas Hill Country.
