Maylee Araujo-Jerezano
Integration Specialist
Maylee Araujo-Jerezano is an Integrations Specialist at Inszone Insurance Services, joining the company in December 2021. After college graduation, she started working at RISCO Insurance as a customer service representative for about six months before abruptly taking over as the office administrator. In this role, she learned more about the operational side of running an insurance agency, acting as a liaison for all departments including accounting, human resources, business development with carriers, IT, and administrative. When RISCO Insurance sold to Inszone in 2021, she continued that role working alongside Inszone’s departments to merge those items. Maylee has been working in insurance for five years, starting as a customer service representative for commercial and personal lines where she learned all the basics of insurance. Shortly after the agency sold to Inszone, she was offered a role working with the Carrier Integration Department, where she began learning more in depth about handling carrier relationships and what occurs when an acquisition happens. She graduated from Long Beach State University with a bachelor’s degree in Business Economics and a minor in Spanish. Maylee is also heavily involved behind the scenes running a nonprofit organization and hopes to get her Property & Casualty license.
Maylee is passionate about her work and embraces the philosophy of not being afraid to make mistakes or ask questions.
In her free time, Maylee enjoys watching movies and trying new foods either while traveling or at home with her husband!
