Marissa Jordan is a Commercial Lines Account Manager at Inszone Insurance Services, joining the team in August 2024. With over 14 years of experience in the insurance industry, Marissa’s journey began in 2010 at a small health insurance agency in Chico, where she started as a receptionist and quickly advanced to office manager. In 2013, she became a licensed health agent, and in 2014, she joined her family’s agency, Nugent Insurance, where she earned her licenses for all lines by 2018.
For the past six years, Marissa has been the primary Account Manager at Nugent Insurance, focusing primarily on commercial lines with expertise in construction, contractors, and commercial property. Though she handles personal lines, her book of business is predominantly commercial at 90%, with 8% personal lines and 2% health/benefits. She holds insurance licenses in California and Texas and is planning to expand her licenses to other states based on client needs.
Marissa is working toward obtaining her CISR (Certified Insurance Service Representative) designation and is committed to continuous learning. Her approach to customer service is deeply rooted in her family-owned business background, treating clients like friends and prioritizing their needs. This customer-centric mindset has helped her cultivate a loyal client base with numerous referrals.
Known for her strong work ethic and attention to detail, Marissa enjoys reading, writing, and spending time with her husband, who was her high school sweetheart, and their pets—three cats and an elderly Chihuahua/Fox Terrier mix named Pepper. They also enjoy traveling and attending concerts whenever possible.
