Tim Kanter is a Senior Benefits Insurance Specialist and Branch Manager at Inszone Insurance Services, joining the company in October 2024 after the merger with Get Benefits Insurance Services, Inc. With over 30 years of experience in the insurance industry, Tim’s career began in high school, working as an assistant to an insurance agent. Since then, he has gained expertise in underwriting, customer service, and sales while working for major insurance carriers. His extensive background, combined with his leadership experience as a past president of the California Agents and Health Insurance Professionals (CAHIP), positions him as a trusted advisor for clients seeking tailored insurance solutions. Tim has also earned accolades like the Executive Board Member of the Year Award and led CAHIP to receive multiple awards for growth and leadership during his tenure.
Tim is passionate about helping individuals and businesses find the right insurance plans that meet their unique needs. His well-rounded perspective and problem-solving skills allow him to deliver innovative, client-centered solutions. In addition, he is committed to supporting important causes, such as the Free Wheelchair Mission and Children’s Hunger Fund, which align with his mission to make a meaningful impact.
In his free time, Tim enjoys spending time with his family, backpacking in national parks, and embracing his adventurous spirit by throwing a dart at a map and traveling to the destination it lands on. A California native, he lives in Ventura County with his wife of 25 years, Angela, their daughters Megan and Emma, and all their pets. Tim is also a black belt in To-Shin Do, fulfilling his childhood dream of becoming an “Insurance Ninja.”
