Tara Otwell-Garner is a Senior Commercial Lines Account Manager at Inszone Insurance Services, joining the company in February 2024 after the merger with JHC Insurance Agency. With a Business Management degree from the University of Houston, Victoria, Tara is a Texas General Lines Insurance Agent for Life, Accident, Health, & HMO, as well as Property & Casualty.
Starting her insurance career in 2007, she briefly worked in Oil and Gas as a Supervisor before returning to insurance. Joining her previous agency in 2018, Tara quickly advanced from reception to a Commercial Lines Account Manager role.
Known for her meticulousness, goal-oriented approach, and positive demeanor, Tara excels in multitasking and handling pressure. With a diverse background spanning Oil and Gas, Insurance, Sales, Accounting, and Management, she brings valuable experience. Tara is characterized by strong verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills, along with self-motivation, a strong work ethic, and a positive attitude.
Outside of work, Tara enjoys outdoor activities with her family, especially her son, staying active, and nurturing her creative side. Committed to her son’s learning and development, she dedicates time to teaching him important values.
