Senior Benefits Insurance Specialist
Kirsten Tastula is a Senior Benefits Insurance Specialist at Inszone Insurance Services, joining the company in August 2026. She began her insurance career at Lifewise Health Plan of Oregon in their downtown Bend, Oregon office in 1998. She has also worked for Arthur J Gallagher on their large group Employee Benefits servicing and consulting team and most recently for Moda Health as an Individual and Medicare Direct Sales Agent covering the Oregon, Alaska, Idaho, and Texas markets. Kirsten studied Business and Marketing at Central Oregon Community College in Bend, Oregon. She is AHIP certified for Medicare Advantage plans and is currently pursuing her GBA and CEBS certifications through IFEBP. Her key skills include Employee Benefits Consulting, Employer Benefits Strategy, Group Health Benefits (Medical, Dental & Vision Plans), Supplemental & Voluntary Benefits, Benefits Enrollment & Education, Benefits Plan Analysis & Recommendations, Cost-Conscious Benefits Solutions, and Small and Mid-Size Employer Groups.
Kirsten is passionate about a consultative and educational approach, providing expertise and service above and beyond what is expected. She values integrity, thoughtfulness, and a collaborative approach to helping businesses, clients, and employers reach the right decisions regarding benefits that are cost-effective and meaningful for both owners and employees. She focuses on cross-selling products that enhance benefit structures in meaningful ways.
In her free time, Kirsten enjoys music, especially attending concerts at Hayden Homes Amphitheater, enjoying the beautiful community of Bend, Central Oregon, wine tasting, movies, reading books, home and gardening projects, being a rescue dog mom, spending time with friends, and most of all, time with her son, daughter-in-law, and two sweet little granddaughters.
