Shaila Mulji

Benefits Account Manager

Shaila Mulji is a Benefits Account Manager at Inszone Insurance Services, joining the company in June 2025. She started her career in insurance in 2003 with Horace Mann working with educators with all lines of insurance in Tustin California. She gave presentations to educators on 403B plans She then moved on to AIG and managed an exclusive 457B contract with LAUSD, working with educators and administrators and giving presentations all over LAUSD with a team of ten advisors to help with enrollments. Shaila advanced her education and attained her Series 6 & 63 licenses as well as completed all the coursework for a CFP designation with American College to further help clients with all their financial and insurance needs. She also worked with Colonial Life with group insurance, Farmers Insurance as a Life Specialist, and with New York Life as a Financial Services Professional. Her passion for working with the Senior market led her to Inszone Insurance. She has completed all her coursework for a CFP designation, has her LUTCF, and is registered with her Series 6 & 63 licenses for securities. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Pepperdine University in August 1997. Additionally, she holds an Urban Zen Integrative Therapist Certification. Her education and experience have allowed her to cultivate various skill sets that lend themselves to account management and needs-based sales.

Educating clients on all their options is critical to being a trusted advisor. She believes it is important to communicate with clients at least once every quarter to learn what is happening in their lives. Shaila’s goal is to exceed expectations on every client or prospect interaction.

In her free time, Shaila enjoys yoga, singing, dancing, travel, hiking, biking, reading, writing, and volunteering. She is a published author of several books and holds certifications in Ashtanga Yoga and Urban Zen Integrative Therapy. She volunteers as a translator and writer for the Holistic Science Research Center and conducts seminars on topics related to Holistic Science. She is also an honorary faculty member with the Holistic Science Research Center and volunteers with Big Brothers & Big Sisters of Palm Desert. Shaila has been married for almost 40 years and has raised three amazing young men. Her personal philosophy is that kindness always wins and that cultivating humanity, compassion, and an attitude of gratitude is critical to maximizing our human existence.
