At Inszone Insurance Services, we believe that investing in our local communities is just as important as the work we do in the office. Through our Charitable Time Off (CTO) program, Inszone employees are given paid time off to volunteer and support the non-profit organizations that mean the most to them. This month, we are proud to highlight Robert Marquez II, who recently used his CTO to help lead and support The Garden Fellowship’s Vacation Bible School (VBS) children’s outreach!
Community Spotlight: Robert Marquez II Supports The Garden Fellowship’s Vacation Bible School
The Garden Fellowship is a non-profit church in Indio that serves the Coachella Valley through worship, biblical teaching, discipleship, and community outreach. Beyond its weekend services, the organization is dedicated to supporting families, building community, and helping people grow, extending practical care to local individuals and families well beyond the walls of the church.
On June 22nd through the 26th, Robert dedicated his time to leading and supporting the church’s Vacation Bible School, a children’s outreach where volunteers guide kids and families through Bible lessons, games, worship, crafts, and group activities. The goal of the multi-day event is to create a safe, encouraging, and meaningful experience for every child who attends. Throughout the week, Robert led a group of ten children, guiding them through each activity and keeping them safe and engaged from start to finish.

Robert’s connection to The Garden Fellowship is deeply personal. He serves with the organization because he believes in its mission to support families, build community, and help people grow, and he is especially moved by the welcoming environment it creates for children.
“They create a safe, encouraging environment for children to feel valued, loved, and supported,” Robert shared. “As a husband, father and volunteer, it matters deeply to me to invest in the next generation and help create moments that can positively impact a child’s life.”
