At Inszone Insurance Services, we proudly recognize employees who use Charitable Time Off (CTO) to give back to their communities. On November 7,2025, Lisa Newman volunteered with Simple Truth Church – Northpoint in Grass Valley, California, helping organize and prepare a community meal for the church’s monthly Friday Feast event.
Simple Truth Church, located on Sutton Way just across from Inszone’s Grass
Valley office, is a small but active church known for its outreach programs
and community spirit. Each month, the church hosts Friday Feast, a free
dinner open to anyone in the community, offering both a warm meal and a
welcoming place for connection and fellowship. Lisa plays a key role as one of the event organizers, planning the menu,
shopping for ingredients, and helping prepare the food. For November’s
event, she and the volunteer team served a full Thanksgiving dinner, complete
with desserts, to guests from across the neighborhood.
“I’m so blessed to have this central location, as I’m able to attend and
participate in so many outreach programs,” Lisa shared. “From the first time
I attended Sunday worship, I knew I wanted to serve my community. The Friday
Feast is so special because we’re able to do something simple yet
meaningful, providing a hot meal and a smile.”
Lisa’s dedication and leadership embody the true purpose of Inszone’s
Charitable Time Off program, supporting employees who give their time and
heart to make a difference. Through her ongoing service, she helps foster
the sense of care and compassion that strengthens both her church community
and the Grass Valley area.
