Inszone Insurance Services recently partnered with local businesses in the Anaheim and Orange area to support the Spark of Love Toy Drive, a collaboration between ABC7 and Southern California Firefighters that has been serving the community for 26 years.
Inszone Insurance joined forces with Pancho’s Restaurant, A Cut Above Inc., Black Star Paving Inc., Anaheim Hills Auto Body, and So. Cal Bobcat & Concrete Cutting to donate 216 brand-new bikes to the Spark of Love Toy Drive. The bikes will be distributed to underserved children and teens in Orange County. While Inszone has supported the toy drive since 2017, this marks the first year that all of the businesses have combined efforts to maximize their impact.
“We saw an opportunity to unite and make a more significant contribution. Each of us had participated in one way or another in previous years, but by working together we’re able to do more for the kids in our community,” explained Chris Walters, COO of Inszone Insurance Services. “It’s important for us as business owners to give back and help however we can. We’re proud to be part of this group of local businesses that care deeply about the community we live in. Having our kids here today makes it even more meaningful—we’re teaching them an important lesson and building a tradition for generations to come.”
Over its history, the Spark of Love Toy Drive has collected more than 10 million toys. Its mission is to collect new, unwrapped toys and sports equipment for underserved children and teens in Los Angeles, San Bernardino, Orange, Ventura, and Riverside counties. Donations collected in each county are distributed locally to ensure that children in need within the community receive support.
