Community Spotlight: Jennifer Martinez Photographs the 208 Golf Tournament for Idaho Veterans

At Inszone Insurance Services, we believe that investing in our local communities is just as important as the work we do in the office. Through our Charitable Time Off (CTO) program, Inszone employees are given paid time off to volunteer and support the non-profit organizations that mean the most to them. This month, we are proud to highlight Jennifer Martinez, who used her CTO to volunteer at the Idaho Veterans Assistance League’s 208 Golf Tournament!

The Idaho Veterans Assistance League is a non-profit volunteer organization dedicated to providing programs, activities, support, and aid that enhance the quality of life for veterans. Its work centers on making sure those who served have the resources and community they need long after their service ends.

Held on September 17th, the 208 Golf Tournament brought golfers together for a day on the course to raise money for veterans in Idaho. Every dollar raised went back into the programs and support the league provides throughout the state.

Jennifer volunteered her time as the event’s photographer, capturing the golfers, volunteers, and moments that made the day. Her photos give the league a lasting record of the tournament and the community that turned out to support it, something the organization can use to share its story and build on for future events.

Jennifer’s connection to the cause is rooted in family. She comes from a military family and knows many veterans who have struggled in the past, which gives her a clear sense of how much organizations like this one matter.

“I am from a military family and I know many veterans who have struggled in the past, and organizations like this are very much needed in our community,” Jennifer shared.

We are incredibly proud of Jennifer for lending her skills to an organization that stands behind Idaho’s veterans. Thank you, Jennifer, for representing Inszone’s core values and helping tell the story of a day dedicated to those who served!

If you are an Inszone employee interested in participating in the CTO program, please contact HR to learn more about how you can get involved.
