Inszone Insurance Named a 2026 Applied Pinnacle Award Winner

Inszone Insurance Services has been recognized with a 2026 Pinnacle Award from Applied Systems, the highest customer honor the insurance software company gives. The awards were presented on September 29 at Applied Net 2026, the company’s annual user conference, held at the Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center in Washington, D.C.

Inszone was one of five organizations recognized this year, alongside Integra Insurance Services, The McClone Agency, OTIP/RAEO Insurance Brokers, and Travelers.

What the Pinnacle Award Recognizes

The Pinnacle Awards honor the agencies, brokerages, and carriers that Applied considers its standout partners. Recipients are chosen for three things: adopting new technology early, participating actively in product development rather than simply using what ships, and converting that work into measurable business results.

Applied chief executive officer Graham Blackwell framed the awards around the industry’s broader shift toward connected data and automation across the policy lifecycle, celebrating this year’s winners for showing how organizations that embrace innovation early can build smarter, more resilient businesses.

Why Inszone Was Selected

Applied pointed to two things in particular.

The first is how Inszone uses Applied Epic. Rather than treating the management system as one tool among many, Inszone built its growth strategy around Epic’s integrated capabilities, using the platform as the backbone that connects and extends the rest of the agency’s technology stack.

That architecture matters most where Inszone’s growth actually happens. The brokerage has expanded substantially through acquisition, and Applied specifically credited that foundation for allowing Inszone to fully integrate each newly acquired agency into Epic within what it described as industry-leading integration times. For an acquiring brokerage, integration speed is not a technical footnote. It determines how quickly a new team can serve clients on shared systems, how soon data becomes usable across the organization, and how much disruption clients experience during a transition.

The second is Inszone’s role in shaping the software itself. The brokerage served as a design partner for automated remarketing in Epic, contributing to a capability now available across Applied’s customer base.

A Reflection of How Inszone Operates

Founded in 2002 and headquartered in California, Inszone Insurance Services is a full-service brokerage providing commercial, personal, and employee benefits coverage to clients nationwide. The recognition reflects something the team has prioritized as the organization has grown: that scale only benefits clients when the systems behind it actually connect.

Technology investments rarely surface directly in a client conversation. They show up as a policy question answered on the first call, an accurate certificate issued the same day, and a newly joined agency that operates like part of the organization within weeks rather than quarters. Being recognized by Applied for the work behind those outcomes is a meaningful marker of progress.

Congratulations to the Inszone team members across operations, technology, and integrations whose work earned this recognition, and to the fellow winners honored at Applied Net 2026.
