At Inszone Insurance Services, we proudly recognize employees who use Charitable Time Off (CTO) to support cultural organizations and community traditions. From December 5 through December 7, 2025, Tina McClary volunteered with the German American Society of Tulsa (GAST) during its annual Christkindlmarkt, a festive holiday market celebrating German culture and heritage.
The German American Society of Tulsa is dedicated to preserving and promoting German language, customs, and traditions through education, social engagement, and community events. Christkindlmarkt is one of the organization’s signature celebrations, featuring local artisans and vendors, imported goods, authentic German food, warm Glühwein, live music, and a beautifully displayed Bethlehem village. The event is held indoors at the GAST building and serves as an important fundraiser supporting the organization’s ongoing operations.

During the event, Tina helped raise funds by managing a special quilt raffle. Guests were invited to make a donation in exchange for entry into a drawing to win a quilt created specifically for the Christkindlmarkt. The raffle plays a key role in supporting the upkeep and programming of the GAST facility.
Tina’s involvement with the event goes back more than a decade, when a friend she met through Oktoberfest first asked for her help. Over the years, she has continued to support the quilt raffle at both Christkindlmarkt and Germanfest, and during the COVID years, she also assisted with preparing food for drive-through meal service when in-person festivities were limited.

“I’m not a member of GAST, but I truly enjoy helping with this event,” Tina shared. “I love being part of the fundraising, seeing all the unique items for sale, and enjoying the food and atmosphere. It’s rewarding to support something that brings the community together.”
Tina’s long-standing dedication reflects the power of community involvement and the impact of supporting cultural traditions that enrich local life. Her continued commitment helps ensure that events like Christkindlmarkt can thrive year after year.
