At Inszone Insurance Services, we proudly recognize employees who use Charitable Time Off (CTO) to support causes that make a meaningful difference in their communities. On December 16, 2025, Theresa Fuller volunteered with John’s Kids to help deliver Christmas dinners and food supplies to students and families in the San Antonio, Texas area.
John’s Kids was founded 20 years ago by John and Martha Blackwell with a simple but powerful mission: to support underprivileged children by ensuring they have access to food, school supplies, and care during times when those resources may be limited. What began with one elementary school has grown to serve six elementary schools and one junior high school, providing critical assistance to hundreds of students each year.

During this year’s holiday effort, Theresa helped deliver 150 Christmas dinners to two elementary schools, along with peanut butter and jelly supplies distributed to one junior high school and six elementary schools. Her role included assisting with the delivery of meals and food items directly to the schools, helping ensure families could enjoy a warm holiday meal during the Christmas season.
Theresa’s connection to John’s Kids runs deep. The organization was founded by her father, John Blackwell, and his wife Martha, and Theresa has been actively involved in supporting its mission for many years. Alongside her sister, Tracey Blackwell, she helps with fundraising for school supplies and food programs. Her two sons also volunteered with the organization throughout their childhood, continuing the family’s long-standing commitment to giving back.
“This organization is very dear to me,” Theresa shared. “Not just because of my dad, but because of the look on the kids’ faces when they see the food being delivered. It reminds me why this work matters so much.”
