At Inszone Insurance Services, we believe in giving back to the communities where we live and work. Through our Charitable Time Off (CTO) program, our team members are empowered to step away from their desks and dedicate their time to the causes that matter most to them.
This month, we are incredibly proud to highlight Simone Cady, who used her CTO to volunteer at the annual Saddle Up for St. Jude event in support of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

Community Spotlight: Simone Cady Saddles Up for St. Jude
Held at the River Valley Campground in Farmington, Iowa, Saddle Up for St. Jude is an action-packed weekend dedicated to raising vital funds for childhood cancer research and treatment. The multi-day fundraiser brings the community together for trail rides, barrel racing, games on horseback, a charity auction, and several community dinners.
Simone and her husband rolled up their sleeves and jumped right into the action. Together, they helped coordinate the trail rides, assisted with general event setup, and tackled whatever tasks were needed to keep the weekend running smoothly. Because Simone holds a valid ServeSafe food handler certification, she was also able to play a crucial role in safely preparing and serving food to the event’s attendees.

Simone is no stranger to this cause, she previously helped a friend run a similar St. Jude equestrian event at Argyle Lake State Park in Illinois. When she discovered there was a local Farmington event, she knew immediately that she wanted to get involved.
For Simone, supporting St. Jude is a deeply personal mission rooted in her own childhood.
“I had eye surgery when I was four,” Simone shared. “My parents were not allowed to stay with me, and we lived several hours from the hospital. It was very frightening for a kid.”
Because of that experience, St. Jude’s pioneering model, which ensures families are never billed for treatment, housing, or food, and allows parents to stay right by their child’s side, resonates powerfully with her. “My daughter had the same surgery as a toddler, and we got to stay. It was so much nicer! I absolutely love the St. Jude model.”
