At Inszone Insurance Services, we believe that investing in our local communities is just as important as the work we do in the office. Through our Charitable Time Off (CTO) program, Inszone employees are given paid time off to volunteer and support the non-profit organizations that mean the most to them. This month, we are proud to highlight Jenny Nusz, who recently used her CTO to help set up and support the annual Center of Family Love Gala!
Community Spotlight: Jenny Nusz Supports the Center of Family Love Gala
The Center of Family Love (CFL) is a pioneering force dedicated to empowering individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The organization helps its residents live lives of purpose, dignity, and fulfillment. Recognizing that round-the-clock care can become incredibly costly for parents, CFL provides lifetime care for those who cannot afford it. They also teach essential life skills through hands-on programs like pottery making, greenhouse management, and working in an air filter shop, helping capable residents prepare to enter the workforce.
On June 5th and 6th, Jenny dedicated her time to setting up and supporting the organization’s massive annual Gala. Now in its thirteenth year, the sold-out event brings together 1,500 people and features live and silent auctions alongside various raffles. It is a monumental evening that successfully raises over one million dollars for the center each year.
Community Spotlight: Jenny Nusz Supports the Center of Family Love Gala
Jenny has actively volunteered and helped with this incredible event for eight years. Her connection to CFL is deeply personal, as she had a fami:ly member who lived at the center prior to his passing.
“A prior employer was a large donor to this event and asked us to attend several years ago,” Jenny shared. “Knowing individuals with disabilities, I have seen firsthand what a great opportunity this non-profit is for not only the individuals but for their families. I am passionate about this organization, whose facility is just ten miles from where I live.”
We are incredibly proud of Jenny for her long-standing dedication to such a life-changing organization. Thank you, Jenny, for representing Inszone’s core values and making a profound impact on the lives of CFL residents and their families!
