At Inszone Insurance Services, we believe that investing in our local communities is just as important as the work we do in the office. Through our Charitable Time Off (CTO) program, Inszone employees are given paid time off to volunteer and support the non-profit organizations that mean the most to them. This month, we are proud to highlight Brandi Bettis, who used her CTO to volunteer at the Hot Springs Board of Realtors annual kids fishing event!
The Hot Springs Board of Realtors has hosted this event annually for 30 years, making it a long-standing tradition in the community. What began as a day on the water has become something local schools and families look forward to year after year.

The event brings in kids from all area local schools for a day of fishing for large catfish that the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission stocks specifically for them. Volunteers provide the poles and bait, lunch is served, and every child goes home with a prize. For many of the kids who attend, it is their first time ever holding a fishing pole.
Brandi spent the day baiting hooks, removing fish once they were caught, donating snack cakes, and visiting with the kids and faculty from the local schools. She describes it as the most fun and rewarding thing she does all week. Some of the children who come are in wheelchairs and some are non-verbal, but as Brandi puts it, they still let you know they are having a blast.

“Some of these kids have never had a chance to fish before,” Brandi shared.
We are incredibly proud of Brandi for giving her time to a day that means so much to these kids and their families. Thank you, Brandi, for representing Inszone’s core values and helping create a memory these students will carry with them!
