At Inszone Insurance Services, we believe that investing in our local communities is just as important as the work we do in the office. Through our Charitable Time Off (CTO) program, Inszone employees are given paid time off to volunteer and support the non-profit organizations that mean the most to them. This month, we are proud to highlight Brenda Avila, who recently used her CTO to volunteer at the Denver Rescue Mission’s Ministry Outreach Center!
The Denver Rescue Mission is a non-profit organization that serves individuals and families experiencing homelessness and hardship throughout the Denver community. The organization provides essential resources such as food, shelter, clothing, and support services, along with programs designed to help people regain stability and independence. It is an organization built around restoring dignity and opportunity to those who need it most.
On Friday, August 14th, Brenda volunteered at the Denver Rescue Mission’s Ministry Outreach Center. There, she had the opportunity to assist with organizing and distributing donated items and resources that directly support people in need within the community. It was hands-on work that put essential supplies into the hands of those going through an especially difficult time.

For Brenda, the day was about showing up for her community in a practical, meaningful way. She is drawn to organizations like the Denver Rescue Mission that pair compassion with real support, and volunteering at the outreach center let her contribute directly to that mission.
Brenda’s takeaway from the experience was a simple but powerful one: even a few hours of our time can make a difference in someone else’s life.
“I value being able to help others and support an organization that works every day to provide dignity, basic necessities, and opportunities for people in the Denver community,” Brenda shared.
