DeAnna Jarrett
Operations Analyst
DeAnna Jarrett is an Operations Analyst at Inszone Insurance Services, joining the company in August 2024 after the merger of Cummins Insurance. Her experience began in the early 1980s working in her father’s insurance agency, she started by stuffing envelopes to notify clients of office relocation after hand-lettering new signage outside the building. She became a licensed agent. Following the passing of her father in 1997, she and her family purchased the agency from their mother and continued building a successful multi-agency operation for the next 27 years. Prior to the merger, DeAnna served as Chief Operating Officer of Cummins Insurance Agency, Inc., managing Personal Lines, leading Information Technology initiatives, overseeing a Notary Public program, training and supervising staff, assisting with small commercial lines and bonds, and handling various tasks from strategic leadership to cleaning windows. Beyond insurance, her professional background includes several industries, including a catering business, graphic design with sandblasting and acid etching on glass, co-owning a transmission and auto repair shop, and leading multiple insurance agency mergers. Her education includes studies in Marketing at Sacramento City College, where she earned a Marketing Certification, coursework in web design and internet applications at Folsom Lake College. She has also received certifications and recognition a Presenters Certification, Chair/President Citation, and Volunteer Award from Applied Systems Client Network. DeAnna has remained involved in the insurance industry and her community, co-founding a local Applied Systems insurance software user group and serving in multiple leadership roles including President/Chair at the national level. She has taught classes at annual conferences, served on numerous committees.
She believes the greatest achievements in client service come from listening, educating, building genuine relationships, providing exceptional service, prioritizing client success over short-term profits, and always following through with honesty and kindness. She strongly believes that a smile can absolutely be felt over the phone and that a smiling voice creates connection and builds rapport.
In her free time, DeAnna enjoys creating stained glass art, spending time near lakes, rivers, oceans, boating, fishing, golfing, crafting, and most importantly, making lifelong memories with family, grandchildren, and friends.
