At Inszone Insurance Services, we believe that investing in our local communities is just as important as the work we do in the office. Through our Charitable Time Off (CTO) program, Inszone employees are given paid time off to volunteer and support the non-profit organizations that mean the most to them. This month, we are proud to highlight an entire group of volunteers from our Orem office who recently used their CTO to support Tabitha’s Way!

Community Spotlight: Inszone Orem Team Supports Tabitha’s Way
Tabitha’s Way is a local food pantry that helps individuals and families through tough times by providing temporary food assistance and recommending resources for self-reliance. The non-profit serves people experiencing food insecurity in Utah County. By helping families who are struggling to feed themselves, the pantry serves to bridge the gap and keep food on the table.

On June 11th, a dedicated team of employees spent part of their day volunteering at the pantry. The group included Clare Nielson, Daxten Bowen, Brian Bowen, Julia Jara Galarza, Pamela Berneau, Trenton Bowen, and James Sanderson. During their time at the facility, the team assisted with daily food pantry operations. They worked together to hand out food to clients, sort donated items to ensure food safety, and help clean and organize the pantry spaces.

The team members had unique and deeply personal reasons for giving back. Brian Bowen appreciated the opportunity because he has insured Al Switzler, a co-founder of Tabitha’s Way, for many years and values his association with him. Daxten Bowen drew on his highly positive past experiences serving at various food pantries while working as a missionary from 2008 to 2010. James Sanderson appreciated the chance to directly impact his neighborhood, as he lives just a couple of blocks away from one of the storehouses. Trenton Bowen viewed the volunteer event as a way to show gratitude for his own blessings by helping others in need.
