Brian Abbott is a Senior Commercial Lines Account Manager at Inszone Insurance Services, joining the company in March 2026. In high school, he took on a position at an independent insurance agency as a file clerk and administrative assistant, where he developed his love for insurance. Straight out of high school, he took the licensing exam to become an insurance agent and began exploring all different types of insurance. Later in his career, Brian founded and was owner/operator of his own agency, focusing on non-admitted business policies. He has 15 years of experience in the insurance industry, spanning both commercial and personal lines, with extensive experience in excess and surplus policies. His college education focused on business administration, and he is currently working on obtaining his Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation. Working for independent agencies his whole career, Brian has learned how to obtain difficult types of insurance policies and is confident he can find a solution to just about any insurance requirement needed. He is proud to have advocated for consumer rights in California’s auto insurance market by helping make higher coverage limits more accessible.
Brian takes a collaborative approach with clients, using his experience while also trusting their understanding of their needs. It’s important to him that his clients feel they have a partner who listens to them as they ensure they have the right types and levels of insurance for their business. He is passionate about his work and values integrity, honesty, and kindness, always striving to do the right and ethical thing no matter the difficulty.
In his free time, Brian enjoys working with technology, including web and software development, building video games for contests, and building his own computers. He is interested in space and engineering and has been fortunate enough to witness some rocket launches and attend NASA Space Camp. He also enjoys spending time with his wife, whether it be getting out in nature for a hike and picnic or playing video games together.
