She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from the University of Minnesota Duluth and has earned her Qualified Commercial Lines Specialist (QCLS) certification. In her free time, Katie enjoys spending time outdoors. Originally from Minnesota, she has lived in Colorado for 12 years and loves the mountains and sunshine. She also enjoys being on the lake when visiting Minnesota. Katie and her dog Fiona love hiking trails and exploring parks. She is a plant enthusiast with many houseplants that bring her joy. Additionally, she enjoys reading a wide range of genres including historical fiction, mystery, and romance, listening to all kinds of music, and cooking.
