Gary Hanson is an Agency Partner at Inszone Insurance Services, joining the company in April 2026 after the merger of Glendale – Professional Insurance Strategies. Out of college, he worked for Enterprise Rent-A-Car, where he was promoted to various positions along the way, ultimately becoming the area manager in South Denver, responsible for 8 branches and 35 employees. He was also a partner in an eye surgical center with locations in Colorado and Arizona before starting Professional Insurance Strategies in 2006. Gary holds a Bachelor’s in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance from Colorado Mesa University. With 25 years in the industry, he focuses on construction and transportation risks. He has a strong entrepreneurial mindset that helps him relate closely to business owner clients, understanding what it takes to build something from the ground up and taking seriously the responsibility of protecting it. His approach goes beyond placing insurance; he sees himself as part of his client’s team, helping identify risks, think through decisions, and ensure there are no gaps that could jeopardize everything they’ve built. His agency has won numerous awards for growth and profitability, and he is involved in community efforts in Northern Arizona to secure funds through the United States Department of Agriculture to mitigate the effects of wildfires by securing grants, coordinating contractors, and counseling homeowners.
Gary approaches working with clients as a partnership, taking the time to understand how they operate, what they’ve built, and where their real risks lie. He believes insurance only works if it’s aligned with actual exposures and does not believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. He focuses on asking the right questions, identifying gaps, and tailoring coverage so clients are properly protected. His personal philosophy is simple: do what’s right for the client, play the long game, and everything else takes care of itself. He believes trust is built through consistency, honesty, and showing up when it matters—not just when it’s convenient. His future goals include continuing to help his clients and team members.
In his free time, Gary enjoys family time, fly fishing, hiking, mountain biking, and almost anything outdoors.
