At Inszone Insurance Services, we proudly recognize employees who use Charitable Time Off (CTO) to serve others and make a meaningful impact in their communities. On December 20, 2025, Jose Montejano Deschamps volunteered with Works of Power during its Skid Row Essentials Outreach in Los Angeles, helping provide critical resources to individuals experiencing homelessness.
Works of Power is a faith-based nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering individuals to reach their highest potential through compassion, service, and action. The organization operates a wide range of programs, including the Good Samaritan Scholarship and Skid Row Outreach, and supports communities both locally and globally, with initiatives spanning the United States, India, Nepal, Mexico, and Latin America.
The Skid Row Essentials Outreach brought together companies, organizations, and volunteers from across the region to distribute food, clothing, and hygiene products to people in need. The event ran throughout the day, creating a space where dignity, care, and human connection were at the center of every interaction.

Community Spotlight Jose Montejano Deschamps Volunteers with Works of Power for Skid Row Essentials Outreach
Jose’s involvement began even before the event itself. Alongside coworkers from the La Central area, under the guidance of Vice President Norma Villafranca, Jose helped organize and collect donations at their office to support Works of Power. On the day of the outreach, he also volunteered on-site, assisting with the distribution of essential items and directly engaging with members of the community.
“This experience came from a place of humility and service,” Jose shared. “Being able to help and support the community reminded me of God’s love working through people. In difficult times, seeing a simple smile sparked by generosity is a blessing that touched my heart deeply.” Growing up in a low-income household, Jose felt a personal connection to the mission and impact of the outreach, making the experience especially meaningful.
Jose’s dedication highlights how collective effort and compassion can create moments of hope and encouragement, even in the most challenging circumstances. His willingness to give back reflects the power of service to uplift others and strengthen communities.
We commend Jose Montejano Deschamps for his generosity, initiative, and heartfelt commitment to supporting Works of Power and the Skid Row community. At Inszone Insurance Services, we are proud to support employees like Jose who embody our values
of compassion, faith, and community involvement through the Charitable Time Off program.
