Bruce Winning is a Senior Commercial Insurance Specialist at Inszone Insurance Services, joining Inszone in July 2024 after the merger with ISU Francis Pinney Insurance Agency.
Bruce has spent his entire career in the insurance industry, including roles at Industrial Indemnity and Reliance National Insurance Company. In 1989, Bruce was a member of the initial start-up management team for CalComp Insurance Company, which quickly became California’s largest private provider of workers’ compensation insurance. At CalComp, Bruce oversaw sales, marketing, underwriting, claims, HR, and loss prevention for the San Jose regional office. Though skilled in various insurance products, he specializes in workers’ compensation and employee benefits, focusing on affordable options with strong loss prevention support.
In 2000, Bruce joined Health Net Plus Managed Care Services in Sacramento. There, he deepened his knowledge of managed care, including services related to workers’ compensation, such as bill reviews and utilization management. He worked with employers to ensure that workers received quality care and returned to work effectively. Bruce graduated from Cal Poly State University, San Luis Obispo, with a degree in Business and Economics and earned his CPCU designation in 1984.
In his free time, Bruce enjoys watching sunsets over Folsom Lake with his wife and their dog. He and his wife also love going on travel adventures, both domestic and international.
