We have some truly amazing individuals here at Inszone, who actively contribute to their community to help make a difference for others. Jake Jackson, Senior Commercial Insurance Specialist in our Albuquerque, NM office, spent some of his time volunteering for Campbell County Fire Department.
We value our local and regional communities. Inszone team members are encouraged to volunteer for charities that are important to them while receiving pay through Inszone’s new Charitable Time Off (CTO) initiative. We are pleased to see the difference that Jake was able to make as a result of this company-wide program, and we look forward to seeing all of the incredible community efforts from other Inszone team members.
We took some time to ask Jake about his involvement with this program and why it’s important to him.
“This event was a live fire training for structure fire incidents. This event was for the education and training of new firefighters and members of the department.
My assignment in this training was fire control and RIC. As fire control, we would maintain heat and smoke levels in the structure. RIC is for the immediate search and rescue of any missing, trapped, injured, or unaccounted-for firefighters.”
“I joined the Campbell County Fire Department in 2021 and finished the academy that year. I’m a volunteer/part-time member of the department and work as a firefighter. I respond to structure fires, major incidents, and wildland/forest fires. I participate in department training and the safety education of our community.”
“Campbell County Fire Department serves Campbell County WY and provides emergency response for structure fires, wildland fires, vehicle incidents, and emergency medical and rescue situations.”
Jake Jackson’s dedication to community service exemplifies the core values at Inszone. His active involvement with the Campbell County Fire Department not only showcases his commitment to the safety and well-being of the local community but also highlights the positive impact of Inszone’s Charitable Time Off initiative. Through programs like these, team members like Jake are empowered to contribute meaningfully to causes they are passionate about while receiving support from their workplace. Volunteering in events such as live fire training not only enhances the skills and knowledge of individuals like Jake but also plays a crucial role in ensuring the preparedness and effectiveness of emergency response teams. Inszone’s encouragement of such initiatives reinforces the belief that collective efforts can make a lasting difference in fostering stronger, safer communities.
Inszone Insurance is excited to continue to support our employees as they volunteer for the causes that they are passionate about. Jake, we are proud of the work you are doing and continue to do to make a difference in your community, keep it up! We hope to see many more take advantage of this benefit and look forward to seeing their community’s nonprofits flourish.
