Scott Sherman is a Personal Insurance Specialist at Inszone Insurance Services, joining Inszone in April 2024. With a background in mortgage and real estate, Scott has assisted numerous clients in achieving homeownership. His transition to insurance stems from a desire to play a more significant role in protecting their assets. Residing in Simi Valley, California, Scott believes in treating every client with kindness, understanding, respect, and professionalism.
Drawing on his experience as a former real estate agent and lending advisor, Scott ensures that his clients’ coverage comprehensively addresses their financial needs. He is committed to securing the best protection at competitive prices.
Having lived in Simi Valley for over 45 years, Scott actively participates in his community by coaching kids’ sports teams and supporting organizations like the American Cancer Society and H.O.P.E (Homeless Outreach Project Earth).
In his time off, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Tracy, and watching his four sons participate in basketball and volleyball. Scott is an avid Green Bay Packers fan and enjoys collecting memorabilia, as well as making annual trips to Wisconsin to watch his favorite team in action.

I’ve been with Mercury insurance for many years. This is the first time I had my insurance cancelled due to a minor error. My auto policy was due for renewal on 7/25/24. I paid it on 7/23/24. On 7/29/24 I received an email that my payment did not go through. I called the bank and they couldn’t see anything wrong. I then called my original agent and Scott Sherman (another agent) happened to answer the phone. He walked to where my agent is and found out that she wasn’t in. He asked me if he could help and I told him the situation. He looked at my policy and it did show on their system that I tried making the payment on the 23rd but it looked like I made a mistake on the routing number on my account. Mercury already cancelled my policy and they would not accept another payment and I am now without car insurance. Scott worked on rewriting my insurance for almost 2 days. Having to wait for the underwriter was so stressful. We didn’t know how long before the underwriter will make a decision. He felt so bad for me and was giving me other options even if it meant losing me as a customer. He had to go to his Supervisor to plead my case. His Supervisor made a call to the head of Mercury Insurance to reinstate my policy since it was an honest mistake. Before 5PM on the second day Scott called me and said that they will reinstate my policy. Scott really worked hard. He was so busy dealing with me and another customer who also lost their home policy but he kept me posted in every step. I really felt when he fought for me. That’s a TRUE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I was so impressed with him that I asked If could have him as my agent. Scott Sherman is highly skilled and knowledgeable agent and a true professional. I would highly recommend him and this agency INSZONE INSURANCE. Thank you very much Scott for all your help and hard work and to your Supervisor Kelly for stepping in.
