At Inszone Insurance Services, we appreciate employees who actively give back to their communities. Vanessa Mula, a producer in our Commercial Lines department, recently exemplified this spirit through our Charitable Time Off (CTO) program by volunteering at the North County Food Bank in San Diego County. The Food Bank’s mission is to supply nutritious food to individuals and families struggling with food insecurity, a cause Vanessa holds close to her heart.
During the food distribution event, Vanessa joined fellow volunteers to assemble and package monthly groceries for families in need. Once cars arrived at the drive-through station, Vanessa and her team efficiently loaded them with the pre-packed food items. This hands-on service helped ensure that local residents received the essential resources to maintain a balanced diet and reduce the strain of financial challenges.
“It feels great to help those who need a little extra support,” Vanessa shared. “Being able to hand out food and see people’s relief—just knowing you’re making a difference—really motivates me to stay involved in our community.”
Vanessa’s decision to devote her CTO hours to the North County Food Bank underlines Inszone’s core values: compassion, service, and community engagement. By supporting local organizations, employees like Vanessa demonstrate how small gestures—such as a few hours of volunteering—can significantly uplift individuals and families at a critical time.
