At Inszone Insurance, we’re proud to highlight team members who dedicate their time to positively impact the communities we serve. Kevin Zaldivar, one of our dedicated employees, recently volunteered his time with Helping Hands, a nonprofit committed to providing meals and essential items to those experiencing homelessness in Fort Worth, Texas.
From May 23rd to May 25th, Kevin played a crucial role in organizing and executing a community event aimed at feeding the homeless in downtown Fort Worth. With the original event location no longer available, Kevin stepped up to secure a suitable food truck to serve as a kitchen, shopped for necessary supplies, prepped meals, and actively participated in distributing food plates to attendees.
Kevin expressed the personal significance of his involvement with Helping Hands, sharing, “This nonprofit is special to me because it gives me the chance to make a direct impact on people’s lives. Being part of an organization that provides meals to the homeless shows how powerful small acts of kindness can be. It’s more than just giving food; it’s about showing care, respect, and support to those in need.”
