At Inszone Insurance Services, we proudly recognize employees who use Charitable Time Off (CTO) to support causes that make a difference in their communities. On October 24, 2025, Eris Davidson volunteered with the Phoenix Zoo / Arizona Center for Nature Conservation (ACNC) to help prepare for the Zoo’s Día de los Muertos Festival in Mesa, Arizona.
The Phoenix Zoo, operated by the ACNC, is the largest privately funded zoo in the United States and is deeply committed to wildlife conservation, education, and community engagement. Eris is an active member of the Zoo’s professional volunteer organization, The Wildest Club in Town, a group that raises funds and supports conservation projects benefiting the Zoo and its mission to protect Arizona’s native species.
For the October festival, Eris helped design and create decorations for the Zoo’s booth, including floral arrangements crafted from crepe paper to adorn the Ofrenda, a traditional altar honoring loved ones and celebrating life. The booth also featured donated art pieces sold to raise funds for the Zoo’s conservation programs.
“I’ve been a Zoo volunteer and part of The Wildest Club in Town since 2017,” Eris shared. “It’s a group of professionals who donate their time to support the Zoo, the animals, and the ACNC’s conservation efforts. I love animals of all sorts, and this organization is very special to me.”
Eris’s dedication highlights how creativity, community spirit, and environmental passion can come together to support a meaningful cause. Her efforts not only helped make the festival display beautiful and memorable but also contributed directly to the Zoo’s ongoing fundraising and conservation goals.
