At Inszone Insurance Services, we proudly recognize employees who use their Charitable Time Off (CTO) to support organizations that strengthen and uplift families, veterans, and communities. From November 6-9, 2025, Amy Torgersen attended the California-Hawaii Elks Association Mid-Term Conference, serving in her leadership role as Exalted Ruler of Riverside Elks Lodge #643.
The Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks is one of the nation’s largest and longest-running fraternal organizations, with more than 1,800 lodges across the United States. The Elks are deeply rooted in charitable service, supporting veterans, youth programs, transitional housing, community safety efforts, and life-changing children’s charities. Their impact reaches far beyond lodge walls, providing everything from backpacks, coats, and school supplies to local youth, to emergency essentials for homeless and at-risk veterans, to comfort items for children encountered by police during difficult calls.

The Mid-Term Conference brings together leaders from across California and Hawaii to review major initiatives, coordinate charitable programs, and discuss the ongoing operations of their lodges. As Exalted Ruler equivalent to a lodge’s CEO, Amy is required to attend in order to stay current on regulations, charitable initiatives, and organizational leadership. During the conference, she participated in meetings that guide the Elks’ core mission, including fundraising efforts for children with medical needs, support programs for veterans, and community outreach projects across Riverside County.
Amy has been an Elk for six years and has served as an officer for four. Her passion for service is evident in her continued commitment to programs such as Voices for Children, Search and Rescue, transitional shelter initiatives, and school support drives. She also helps coordinate the lodge’s partnerships with Riverside Police Department, providing patrol units with backpacks filled with sundries for veterans in crisis, as well as stuffed animals and toys to comfort children during emergency situations.

For Amy, the conference wasn’t simply a requirement, it was an opportunity to lead, learn, and further the charitable work that drew her to the Elks in the first place. She is proud to represent an organization that works tirelessly so children can walk, talk, see, and play despite birth defects or disabilities, and that ensures no veteran is forgotten.
We commend Amy Torgersen for her leadership, dedication, and heartfelt commitment to serving the Riverside community. Her involvement reflects the values at the heart of
Inszone’s Charitable Time Off program and our belief in supporting employees who make a difference both inside and outside the workplace.
