At Inszone Insurance Services, we proudly recognize employees who use Charitable Time Off (CTO) to support programs that strengthen their communities. On December 10, 2025, Amanda Croft volunteered with Agape Development for their annual Christmas Store, an event dedicated to bringing joy, stability, and opportunity to families in Houston’s 3rd Ward.
Agape Development is a nonprofit committed to empowering single mothers and underprivileged youth by providing essential resources such as affordable housing, community gardens, after-school programs, and youth camps. Their mission focuses not only on meeting immediate needs, but also on building long-term support systems that help children grow and thrive.
Community Spotlight: Amanda Croft Volunteers with Agape Development’s Christmas Store
During the Christmas Store event, Amanda arrived early to help set up the gift area, organize donated presents and prepare the space for families. Throughout the day, she assisted parents in selecting meaningful gifts and then partnered with one of the children to wrap those presents, ensuring each family would wake up on Christmas morning with something special under the tree. After gift-wrapping, Amanda joined the children for activities and served hot chocolate to help keep the festive spirit alive.
For Amanda, this cause carries personal significance. Growing up as the child of a single mother, she understands firsthand the challenges families can face when resources are limited and childcare is out of reach. Supporting an organization that bridges these gaps, providing safe spaces, mentorship, and opportunities for success, deeply resonates with her. She shared that it speaks to her heart to know these children are not only receiving a joyful Christmas experience, but also being given the ongoing guidance and support they need to flourish into confident, capable young adults.
