Senior Commercial Lines Insurance Specialist
Chip Kueffer is a Senior Commercial Lines Insurance Specialist at Inszone Insurance Services, joining the company in October 2025. Before the insurance industry, Chip built a strong background in sales, marketing, and account management, primarily in the athletic apparel sector. He worked for Under Armour for four years, where he opened a sales territory and improved it to #1 nationally in footwear sales. Before UA, Chip was at the University of Kansas, working for the men’s basketball team under Hall of Fame Coach Bill Self, serving as the team’s head manager his final two seasons. Kueffer earned his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Kansas where he studied Education. Chip specializes in commercial insurance programs, helping business owners protect their operations through comprehensive coverage strategies. His approach combines deep product expertise with a service-first mindset, ensuring clients receive personalized guidance and proactive support. He has over half a decade of experience working for a captive, providing services in the oil and gas sector as well as the automotive, towing, and transportation industries, among many others. Chip was home schooled up until high school and is the youngest boy in a family of nine children. His wife, Morgan, ran Track at KU. Chip’s father, Steve Kueffer, was a long-time assistant Track coach at KU under Hall of Famer Bob Timmons from the late 1970s through the late 1980s.
As an advisor, Chip is passionate about setting policies the way his insureds want them to be set up. He believes in being thorough, transparent, and maintaining open dialogue. He strives to be direct and honest with all of his clients to help them accomplish their goals while preserving the bottom line of their business. His personal philosophy is to put the client first, always, focusing on building policies that are clear, proactive, and aligned with the client’s goals. His role is not just to sell coverage but to serve as a trusted advisor who helps businesses protect what matters most and achieve long-term success.
In their free time, Chip loves spending time with his beautiful wife, Morgan, and their two boys: Venn and Stiles. They adore doing anything they can to be active together, whether that be going to the park, playing golf, or shooting baskets. After relocating to Topeka in 2021, Chip sought ways to give back and strengthen community ties by coaching at Cair Paravel Latin School as the Head Boys’ Basketball Coach, mentoring student-athletes and instilling values like teamwork and character. Chip and his wife are active members in their Church and Breakthrough T1D Chapters.
