At Inszone Insurance Services, we take pride in supporting employees who use their Charitable Time Off (CTO) to make a meaningful difference in their communities. On December 2-3, 2025, Anna Barladean volunteered at Shriners Children’s Northern California, participating in their annual Christmas decorating event to help bring joy and comfort to pediatric patients and their families.
Shriners Children’s Northern California is a nonprofit pediatric specialty hospital in Sacramento that provides advanced care in orthopedics, burns, spinal conditions, and colorectal surgery, regardless of a family’s ability to pay. Their mission centers on healing, hope, and compassionate support for children facing medical challenges.
Each year, the hospital transforms for the holidays, with Christmas trees on every floor and decorations throughout the building. Patients and their siblings are invited to choose gifts from beneath the main Christmas tree, creating a festive experience that brings warmth and excitement to children spending the season in the hospital. Anna spent her volunteer time helping decorate the hospital for the holidays, contributing to the cheerful, welcoming atmosphere that means so much to young patients and their families.
Anna’s connection to Shriners began in 2019, when she participated in the hospital’s Summer Youth Academy for teens. During the six-week program, she shadowed a unit coordinator on the inpatient floor, worked closely with staff, and spent time with patients. That experience left a lasting impact, and she continues to hold the staff, patients, and mission of Shriners close to her heart.
“For me, every child’s life matters,” Anna shared. “A small way to make them feel loved is through decorations and gifts during the holidays. I’m grateful to work for a company like Inszone that encourages giving back to our community.”
We commend Anna Barladean for her compassion, dedication, and commitment to brightening the holidays for children at Shriners Children’s Northern California. Her service represents the spirit of kindness and community that Inszone strives to support through our Charitable Time Off program.
