Kristy James is a Personal Lines Insurance Specialist at Inszone Insurance Services, joining the company in June 2025 after the merger of Woodward, OK – SBG-SBS Stephenson, Baggs & Guthrie, LLC. She has been in the medical insurance industry for 30 years, specializing in medical, dental, and vision. In 2025, she shifted her focus to a different aspect of the insurance industry when she joined Stephenson Insurance Center as a licensed Personal and Commercial Agent. Kristy began her career as an assistant manager in the Registration department at a local hospital. She then spent 10 years as a medical claims examiner and senior customer service representative at a national insurance company. Following that, she worked at various dental and vision practices managing claims and billing. She holds a Secretarial Certificate from High Plains Vocational and Technical Center.
Kristy’s background in customer service, strong organizational skills, and problem-solving mindset allow her to support her associates and clients effectively. She is passionate about her work and committed to continuing to grow in her chosen field as a personal lines agent, supporting her team, and cultivating a positive and professional presence in her community.
In her free time, Kristy enjoys hiking, gardening, painting, and reading. She is an avid coffee lover and a cat mom. She also appreciates speaking with honesty, thinking with sincerity, and acting with integrity. Among her personal achievements, she has climbed Pinnacle Mountain in Arkansas, crossing it off her bucket list. Additionally, she is a keeper of odd knowledge, often sharing random facts in everyday conversations.
