Get to Know Tiffany
Q: What initially brought you to the insurance industry?
A: I was introduced to the insurance industry through my mother and sister, who owned their own agency before merging with Inszone. A few years prior to the merger, my sister offered me a position managing their accounting and handling back-end operations. Working alongside them daily, I gained a deeper understanding of the insurance process and realized how much I enjoyed it. That moment sparked my interest, and I knew I wanted to pursue this path.
Q: In what ways do you think your unique background or experiences contribute to your success in your role?
A: My background as a 911 Dispatch Supervisor equipped me to handle high-pressure, complex situations with composure and empathy. Managing emergency calls taught me to think critically, de-escalate tense scenarios, and communicate with compassion. These experiences have directly translated to my current role, enabling me to effectively support our insureds by understanding their needs and finding thoughtful, tailored solutions.
Q: If you could describe your approach to teamwork in three words, what would they be and why?
Respect: The foundation of any strong team—I believe that valuing others’ opinions and actively listening creates a positive and collaborative work environment.
Communication: Being open and transparent with colleagues helps build trust and ensures everyone is on the same page.
Support: My coworkers know they can rely on me, and I on them. I believe that lifting each other up is vital to the overall success of our department.
Q: Can you share a particularly challenging situation you faced in your career and how you overcame it?
A: One of the most challenging transitions in my career was shifting from an accounting role to becoming a Renewal Specialist in Workers’ Compensation. My background had been rooted in numbers, balances, and revenue for several years, so moving into a service-oriented position required a significant mindset shift. I had to quickly adapt to a new set of responsibilities—focusing not just on data, but also on understanding our clients’ needs and balancing those with the strategic goals of Inszone. Through proactive learning, seeking guidance from experienced team members, and staying committed to providing value to both our clients and the company, I was able to successfully navigate the transition and thrive in my new role.
Q: What do you think sets you apart, and how does it benefit your team?
A: I’m truly one of our team’s biggest cheerleaders (Work Comp Renewals, you are amazing)! I make it a point to always be available to support my co-workers and answer any questions they may have. By treating my colleagues with respect and encouraging a positive, uplifting environment, I help foster high morale and a strong sense of collaboration. This not only boosts productivity and personal growth but also reinforces the belief that when we work together, we succeed together.
Q: Who has been the biggest influence or mentor in your life, and what valuable lessons have you learned from them?
A: My parents have been the biggest influence in my life. Through every challenge I’ve faced, they’ve been my strongest supporters—offering encouragement, honest advice, and unwavering belief in me, even when I didn’t realize I needed it. They instilled in me the value of hard work from an early age, always reminding me that nothing worth having comes without effort. That mindset has shaped who I am, both personally and professionally.
Thank You, Tiffany!
Tiffany, your dedication and focus have been key to the success of your team and the company. We’re excited to see your continued success!
