Jo Albertson is a Benefits Account Manager at Inszone Insurance Services, joining the company on October 2024 after the merger with Southerland & Associates. Jo has been a consultant and licensed agent with Southerland & Associates since 2000, bringing over two decades of experience in helping individuals and businesses navigate their health insurance needs. Prior to her career in insurance, Jo was a Health Care Practitioner, where she recognized that many individuals, particularly as they age, had not addressed their health insurance needs. She assists clients in implementing various insurance programs, providing them with a comprehensive plan and peace of mind that comes with knowing they are properly insured.
Jo’s diverse background in both healthcare and business development has greatly influenced her approach to benefits management. Her prior experience as a Business Development Manager for Select Medical in Central Texas, where she promoted outpatient physical therapy services, has given her an in-depth understanding of the healthcare landscape. Additionally, Jo’s entrepreneurial experience owning a Wellness Company in Dallas, Texas, where she offered services such as massage therapy, nutritional consulting, yoga, and Animal Massage, helps her connect with clients in a meaningful way. Jo’s passion for helping others, combined with her extensive knowledge, makes her a valuable resource for her clients.
In her spare time, Jo enjoys spending time outdoors, especially tending to her gardens. She is also passionate about animals and has volunteered with nonprofit organizations such as Heart of Texas Lab Rescue and PAWS Animal Shelter.
