Rick Kim is a Senior Commercial Lines Insurance Specialist at Inszone Insurance Services, joining Inszone in March 2024. With a Master of Laws from the University of Southern California and bachelor’s degrees in Law, Accounting, and Arts from South Korea, Rick is also working towards a CPA license. His extensive insurance experience includes roles as Chief Strategy Officer at JC&Company Law and CPAs, Account Executive at CAL-KOR Insurance Services, and Senior Professional at Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance Co., Ltd. Rick holds a CPM license from IREM, specializing in Property & Casualty insurance for commercial properties such as buildings, factories, warehouses, and data centers.
Rick is dedicated to helping Korean businesses thrive in the U.S. market. With nearly two decades of experience and a background in accounting and taxation, Rick has held key roles, including Senior Professional at Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance Co., Ltd., where he served as both an Adjuster and a Senior Professional Advisor at the VIP Financial Planning Center. His innovative method for calculating insurance premiums has earned him a patent in South Korea. Rick is also the author of “Insurance Guidebook” and is currently working on “Insurance and Tax.” He offers expertise in both Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance and Group Health insurance, providing clients with comprehensive coverage solutions that address both business and employee benefit needs.
Outside of work, Rick is actively involved in several community and professional organizations, including serving on the boards of KAIFPA and KACCOC, being a member of KACPA, and partnering with KFA.
